what's a few bullets more

• after three phone calls trying to get a doctor appointment changed because tomorrow is Ash Wednesday, I quit; I conclude the receptionist thinks I am very confused, really ignorant, or out right lying. Mentioning Orthodox must have confused her even more...she must have thought I was Jewish (for some reason, that's always the first question I get in this part of the woods.)  I will just show up early and hope my doctor takes pity on me...and a prayer probably wouldn't hurt (for me to keep a spirit of peace and charity).  But next time I get a note from my Priest.
• Will seeing a supposedly Jewish woman wearing a cross make someone's head explode and will I be responsible?
• will my head explode if I sing Alleluia during Lent-It's a Western Rite thing (since I will be going to the Easter Vigil with my husband and the Lutheran Easter services with my children...I even volunteered to sing in the choir with Bea (I hope it's OK, it's a hard word to lip sync)
